Ingredients You'll Need
1 Bag of Russet Potatoes
1 Large carton of heavy cream
2 sticks of Butter
1 tsp nutmeg
Salt and white pepper to taste
Directions
1) finely slice the potatoes using a mandoline and set aside in water until required .
2) In a lage flat pan on medium heat pour in a little cream add a layer of potatoes cook until starts to thicken add a pinch of nutmeg salt and pepper. Add another layer of potatoes and repeat .
3) once this mixture has a thick consistency and is slowly bubbling place in a casserole dish.
4) melt the butter and add some cream and pour over the top place in the oven at 350 and cook till golden brown on top.
