Ingredients You'll Need

8 Jalapeños
1 Can potted meat
1/2 block cream cheese
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1 Cup panko bread crumbs
1 Egg
1 Cup olive oil
Salt and pepper


Directions

Split jalapeños and spoon out seeds. In a small bowl mix potted meat and cream cheese, salt and garlic powder together. Fill all jalapeño halves with mixture. Beat egg and 1 teaspoon water and first dip jalapeños in egg wash and roll in panko crumbs and salt and pepper to taste. In a small sauce pan bring olive oil to a hot, not smoking temperature. In small batches deep fry the poppers until golden brown.
