- 2 cups sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups oats
- In medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, cocoa, milk and vanilla.
- Bring to a slow boil and simmer until sugar dissolves; stir in the peanut butter, remove from heat.
- Stir in oats.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto parchment paper and allow to firm up for one hour.
- OMG! delicious.
NotesI have no idea where this name derived from, other than one of my friends saw these sitting on my counter and said, "Ah! Preacher Cookies! These are the business!"
