Puerto Rican Cheese Fritters

1/2 pound of Gouda, swiss or Cheddar Cheese, grated
2 Tbs cornstartch
Cayenne pepper to taste
Bread crumbs for coating
oil for frying
Beat the cheese, egg and cornstartch and cayenne with a mixer on high speed until well blended. Roll into small balls,(about 1 tsp of the mixture.)
Coat with bread crumbs and fry in hot oil till golden brown. Oil temperature should be 350. Drain and serve immediately.
Serves 4-6 as an appetizer~
Jack cheese with jalapenos would be a nice cheese to use as well.
