PUERTO RICAN CHILLI " DE LA RAZA"
- 1 to 2lbs of ground turkey meat
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 8oz. cans of diced stewed tomatoes
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 1 small green pepper
- Leaves of cilantro to taste
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 packet of chillie seasoning
- V-8 juice
First brown the ground turkey meat and rinse and drain
Add to crock Pot
Add all of the ingredients above
Last add the V-8 juice until you achieve the desired consistency
Set crock pot on high for 3-4 hours or on low 6-7 hours
This is a recipe that was passed down to me from my Father in law who is of Puerto Rican decent.
