Pumpkin Chocolate Cake
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking power
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup oil or unsweet applesauce
2 cups canned pumpkin
1 cup semi sweet mint choc chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Mix all of the above together with a spoon. Do not grease pan. Bake 1 hour 15 min. 350 degrees
Use a tube pan or 2 regular loaf pans.
I have also made this in a 13 by 9 pan.

I was given this recipe about 20 years ago by a close friend. Who is no longer with us. It was given to them by his father who made it every year for the Holidays. We love it. The mint and pumkin together are wonderful
