PUMPKIN SCONES

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 stick cold butter (1/2 cup)
  • 2/3 cup pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup cream

Directions

  • Whisk 2 cups flour, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 Tbsp baking powder, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Work in 1 stick butter with a pastry blender. Whisk 2/3 cup pumpkin and 3/4 cup cream; stir into the flour mixture. Pat into a 8 inch square on a floured surface, then cut into 16 triangles. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 400F 20 minutes.
