Q's Incredibly Wonderful Banana Bread!

Serves | Prep Time | Cook Time 55-60


3 large ripe bananas
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
4 tablespoons butter (melted and cooled)
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts or both
1-1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans or both
1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix first 7 ingredients and set aside.

Mix next 3 ingredients. Add to above mixture and pour into a 9 by 5 loaf pan, lightly greased.

Mix last two ingredients to make topping and sprinkle over loaf.

Bake 325 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. She said sometimes it takes longer. Press down on top of loaf; it's done when no longer "soft" -- her words!
