- 30 PITTED DATES
- 10 THINLY SLICED BACON STRIPS
- WEDGE OF PARMESAN CHEESE
- MAKE SPIKES OF CHEESE AND STUFF INTO THE PITTED DATE. CUT EACH BACON STRIP IN TO 3 PEICES AND WRAP ONE PIECE AROUND THE DATE AND SECURE WITH A TOOTHPICK. PUT WRAPPED DATES ON A COOKIE SHEET AND PLACE UNDER THE BROILER. BROILING TIME WILL VARY, 5 TO 7 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE BACON STARTS TO GET CRISPY AND THE CHEESE IS MELTING. TURN THE WRAPPED DATE OVER AT LEAST ONCE TO MAKE SURE THE BACON IS COOKED ON BOTH SIDES. REMOVE FROM COOKIE SHEET ON TO SERVING PLATTER. BEST IF SERVED WARM.
