Why I Love This Recipe
This recipe is from a church ladies brunch. Serve it with the Spicy Sweet Potato Muffins and Apricot Nectar Salad.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 C bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 T chopped green onions
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 C half and half
1/4 C Dijon mustard
1 (9 inch deep dish) pie crust, unbaked
Place the cheese, bacon and onions evenly into unbaked pie shell. In a small bowl, combine eggs, cream and mustard. Pour evenly over the cheese mixture.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 35-40 minutes, until a knife inserted in filling comes out clean.
