Quick weeknight pasta
1 box Whole wheat spaghetti
Two tblsp butter
1 cup grated parmesan
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed & cut into thirds
salt & pepper to taste
Cook pasta in boiling salted water for 10 minutes;
While pasta is cooking, trim ends from asparagus, cut asparagus into three sections and saute in butter;
When pasta is al dente, place into large bowl with butter and 1/2 cup pasta water;
Toss pasta with grated parmesan;
Add asparagus and salt and pepper to taste;
Serve to a happy family with crusty bread!
