ROASTED POTATO WEDGES:
Use red and white potatoes together
Half or quarter large potatoes or use new potatoes. Make a marinade using
5 Tbsp. veggie oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 package Lipton onion soup mix
1/4 cup Italian dressing
Toss potatoes to coat and place in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 25 to 30 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. Turn them once while roasting.
There is no formal recipe for our family favorite, twice baked potatoes. Nellie just bakes the potatoes, scoops out the flesh and mixes it with any cheese, some sour cream and a little heavy cream and a hint of chopped onion than packs it back into the potato skins, sprinkles with paprika and bakes for about 25 to 30 minutes at 350.
