This always reminds me of the Holidays. Just to warn everyone, it is very rich. I am the only on in the family that can remember how to make it! (Do you think they really can't remember how or just want me to keep making it?)

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Margarine
  • 1 cup Pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 8 inch pie shells (I just use frozen)

  • Beat egg yolks. Cream sugar and margarine. Add to yolks. Add raisins and chopped Pecans, then vinegar and vanilla. Beat egg whites until foamy (not stiff). Fold into mixture. Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells. Bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes
