Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe comes from a famous mexican restaurant. I fyou follow it to the tee, it will taste absolutely amazing. You will be proud !

Ingredients You'll Need

4 Fresh large tomatoes, halved
5-6 Japan chilies
1 Tbsp olive oil
(Small dark red dried chilies found in mex food section in plastic bags hanging on racks)
1 Tsp Garlic powder
1 Tsp salt
Juice of one large lemon or lime

Directions

Place tomatoes under broiler skin side up and allow to char until tops are black.

Remove stem from chilies, and shake until seeds are out.

Place onto a saucepan with olive oil and allow to char.

(This takes about 10 seconds and it will smell, so turn on the fan)

Place all of this into a blender with remaining ingredients and blend until pureed.

You can add to this: Freshly diced tomatoes, white onion and cilantro if you wish, but it is just as good as it is.
