Rhonda's Jonagold Apple Pie

Why I Love This Recipe
Being from Virginia, apples are incredible here, especially in autumn. I only use Jonagold (offspring of Jonathan and Golden Delicious) apples in my pies because they are sweeter tasting.

Ingredients You'll Need
3 C. peeled and sliced Jonagold apples
1/2 C. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
One 9 inch unbaked pie crust
Topping
3/4 C. flour
1/2 C. sugar
1/3 C. butter
Directions
Combine sugar and cinnamon over sliced apples.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Prepare topping.
Mix topping ingredients together with a fork.
Place apple mixture in pie crust and sprinkle topping over it.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
