RIB EYE STEAKS WITH CREOLE SAUCE
Rib Eye Steaks with Creole Sauce
This rich and creamy Creole sauce is what make a good steak even better.
INGREDIENTS
- 2(6 to 8oz) Rib Eye Steaks or Steak
- of your choice
- For the sauce:
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, NO
- substitutes
- 1 tablespoon creole mustard
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 2 teaspoons chives
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 garlic clove, minced OR 1
- teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Grill steaks on the grill as you normally would, grilling until desired doneness is acquired. Meanwhile, make the Creole sauce. Over medium heat, in a small saucepan, heat butter, mustard, half-and-half, chives and celery seed. Reduce heat to low and simmer until sauce has thickned; add garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Season steaks with salt and pepper to taste. Serve steaks topped with warm sauce. OH so yummy! :)
