- 1 cup sifter flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 tablespoons grated orange peel (I use dried)
- 6 oz of chocolate chips
- Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar. Add egg yolk, vanilla, and orange peel.Add remaining
- Drop by teaspoons 1 1/2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. You get abut 3 dozen small cookies.
- Hint: If you make them too big they will not be firm in the middle.
NotesMy grandkids love this little cookie. Just fill the cookie jar, they will not last long!
