Ricotta & Cream Pasta Sauce
1/4 cup butter
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
pinch ground nutmeg
1/4 cup basil, chopped
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Mix and blend the ricotta cheese, cream, nutmeg and basil. Melt the butter and pour into the ricotta mixture, stirring until well blended. Pour sauce over pasta and toss. Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.

I needed a way to use up some leftover homemade ricotta cheese - this turned out to be a fabulous way to do it!
