Rillettes from walnuts and blue cheese

"Watching a movie and snacking away"

Serves Plenty | Prep Time 36 hours | Cook Time None


200 grams of roquefort (or another blue cheese)
75 grams of mascarpone
50 grams walnuts, roasted in a dry skillet, cooled and roughly chopped
6 dried figs, chopped in small pieces
2 tablespoons of dried raisins
2 tablespoons of port wine
crushed black pepper corns

Soak the raisins in the port wine for a couple of hours

Mix all of the ingredients into a bowl

Then put it in a glass jar and allow the different tastes to blend together for 20 to 24 hours

Serve on toast

Pairs Well With

A nice glass of port wine and toast or crackers


This recipe is comfort food for everybody loving a hearty evening snack with a good glass of wine.
