Rindi T’s delicious Sugar Cookies, modified from Family Cookbook
2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour-- homogeneous
3/4 teaspoon baking soda --pure substance NahCO3
1 teaspoon baking powder-- homogeneous
1 cup salted butter softened--homogeneous
1 1/4 cup sugar-- pure substance C12H22O11
3 egg yolks-- homogeneous mixture
1 teaspoon vanilla extract--homogeneous
1/4 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)- pure substance C12H22O11
Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
Then start whisking the flour baking soda and powder in a medium sized bowl, set aside.
In a larger bowl using an electric or hand mixer to cream together the butter and sugar till creamy and combined, add vanilla and the egg yolks to this mixture.
As one of the last steps mix the dry ingredients with wet and it’s key to not over mix this.
Lastly using a scooper create cookie dough balls around the size of 2 tablespoons.
Place in the oven and take out once the time is over.
let them cool and you should have amazing chewy sugar cookies.
