Why I Love This Recipe

The recipe is from Klaas Kasma printed in my daily newspaper "De Leeuwarder Courant", September 8th 2016. I don't know much about Klaas him self, but he has surprising recipes every now and then. This is really one of them. And not too complicated either. Goes very well with a potato mash or simply with bread and a salade.

Ingredients You'll Need

1kg/1000 grams seedless grapes
8 sprigs of thyme
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper according to taste
8 pork sausages or a roll of sausage of about 750 grams

Directions

1 Preheat the oven to 200C/392F

2 Line up a sheet of baking paper in a baking dish

3 Put the grapes and thyme on the sheet

4 Sprinkle with the olive oil

5 Season with a little salt and pepper

6 Place the sausages in between the grapes

7 Roast grapes and sausages for 30 till 40 minutes, pending on how thick the sausages are

Questions, Comments & Reviews

I tried this its excellent a real keeper! Note: Don't overcook grapes they'll explode! Don't cut sausage until it's done cooking! I made both those mistakes on my 1st try it looked like coagulated blood EWWWWWW But we only learn by doing :)
