RUM-MACERATED CHERRIES

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried sweet cherries
  • 2 TB rum

Directions

  • Place the cherries in a nonreactive bowl with the rum.
  • Stir and let stand, uncovered for two hours. Thouroughly pat dry the cherries on sheets of paper toweling; set aside.
