-1 Tomato or half a can of tomato sauce
-Olive oil (enough to coat pan)
-1 head of Green Cabbage
-Sour Cream (tablespoon on top)
-Half a pound of beef
First boil some water in a pot
While the water is boiling, cut the beets, onion, and carrot into small pieces and fry them on a frying pan altogether after oiling the pan
Add the tomato or tomato sauce onto the frying pan
Cut the potato into small pieces and put into the boiled water, and start to cook it.
Cut one green cabbage into small pieces and add it into the pot
After the cabbage is cooked, throw in the beets, onion, and carrot (which are now fried and mixed together) into the pot
Add parsley and stir
Traditionally, after pouring the soup into bowls, you would top the soup off with a tablespoon of sour cream
The soup is now ready to be served.

This recipe is a classic Russian soup recipe that most Russian families eat very often. There are different ways to make it, but this specific recipe I got from my dad.
