SPICED APPLE COOKIES
½ cup butter
1 ½ cups tapa dulce
¼ cup milk or yogurt
2 ½ cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp canela
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp nuez moscada
1 cup nuts
1 cup shredded or finely diced apple
1 cup raisins (soaked and drained)
Cream shortening with sugar and egg.
Add milk and dry ingredients sifted together.
Add in nuts, apples and raisins.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes until browned.
