Why I Love This Recipe

After searching for a tasty use for ground beef, I came up with this recipe using ideas from other web posts. I am pleased with the results of my experimental recipe and so is my family.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 1/2 lbs. 80% lean ground chuck
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1cup water
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can cut green beans (can use fresh or frozen)
6 medium carrots (about 1 1/2 cups), thinly sliced carrots into 1/4-inch disks

Directions

Mix beef, onion, egg, salt and pepper. Form mixture into 6 patties. Lightly spray an electric skillet with cooking spray and heat to 325 degrees F. Brown patties on both sides.

Remove patties. Pour off excess fat and add 1/2 cup water to deglaze the pan, scraping up the brown bits. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup water, soup and Worcestershire, beans and carrots. Return patties to skillet. Cover and cook on low (about 175 degrees F on electric skillet) for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves 3-6 depending on portion desired
