1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
3/4 cup beef gravy, homemade or canned
1/3 cup diced onions
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp. thyme
Form beef into thin patties. Melt butter in a large skillet and add the patties. Cook over medium heat for about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until evenly distributed. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until the beef is tender and thoroughly cooked. Serves 4.
