Salmon With Creamy Dijon Sauce

I found this in First magazine, and tried it. I have no idea what it's real name is, but it was fantastic. I hope you try it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 salmon filet
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard

DIRECTIONS

Season the salmon with the lemon pepper. Place in the broiler for about 12 minutes. Sprinkle fresh dill on top.


In a saucepan melt the butter, and add the flour. Cook two minutes or until golden. Whisk in the milk, and cook 2 more minutes or until thickened. Add the Dijon mustard. Pour on top of salmon and serve.

Mmmmmm this sounds really simple to make and delicious! I love Salmon and especially the season in summer in Iceland, when you used to get really fresh wild salmon. Mmmmm the good old days, when my grandpa went fishing and brought lots of pink fish, that was my favourite :)
