SALSA STEW

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs stew meat
  • 2 T canola oil
  • 4 carrots
  • 3 russet potatoes
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 16 oz jar salsa
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t chili powder

Directions

  • Cut meat and vegetables into 1/2 " pieces.
  • Brown beef in small batches with canola oil - just to sear outside
  • Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
  • Cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours

This recipe is from our good family friends and it is a great recipe for the slow cooker
