SAUERKRAUT AND KLOBASKA (POLISH SAUSAGE)

Ingredients

  • 1 large jar sauerkraut
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 medium can tomatoes
  • Caraway seeds
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 Klobaska
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 strips bacon,
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 1/4 cup hot water

Directions

  • Rinse sauerkraut and put in large pot
  • Add 1/2 cup water, garlic, tomatoes, caraway seed and sugar
  • Brown bacon and onion, then add 2 tbs flour and hot water, mix well and add to sauerkraut mixture
  • Place Klobaska on top and cook 1 hour
