Sausage Bread

Ingredients

2 loaves frozen bread dough, let thaw and rise.
(I usually make mine in bread machine)

2 pkgs. frozen sausage (reg.) thawed (Jimmy Dean)
1 small onion, diced small
1 green pepper, diced small

1 (8 oz. pkg.) cheddar/jack cheese


Roll each dough ball out flat.


Fry sausage, onion and pepper until sausage is done.


Drain really well. This is important. I put paper


towels in a bowl and squeeze out any grease several times.


Place half of the sausage mixture on each


of the rolled out doughs.


Top each with half of the cheese.


Roll up the doughs lenghtwise and pinch the ends well.


Place on a jelly roll pan.


Make 3-4 slits in each to allow steam to escape.


Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until done.
