Sausage cornbread stuffing
1 lb. hot sausage crumbled and browned.
2 tsp. rosemary
2 tsp. thyme dry
2 tsp. savory dry
2 tsp. basil dry
3 tbs parsley or 1 cup fresh
salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper or to taste
1 cup sweet potatoes cubed about 11/2 in. cubes.
2 cups celery chopped
2 cups onion chopped
1 cup bell pepper chopped
1 half to 1 cup butter
4 to 6 cups chicken broth or turkey broth.
Brown sausage and drain well.
Put all ingredients in large bowl except for broth.
Using your hands, mix all ingredients including sausage. When
mixed well, add broth. If dressing is too dry, add more broth.
Place in greased pan about 13 X 9.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until slightly browned.
