1 small bunch broccoli, cut into spears with 2- to 3-inch stems
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Red pepper flakes
Grated parmesan cheese (optional)
1. Microwave broccoli on high for 3 minutes (do NOT overcook); drain.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-low; add garlic and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Add drained broccoli
and a few red pepper flakes; sauté a few more minutes.
3. Serve and sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
