Why I Love This Recipe

This is my mother-in-law's recipe. I love it and I didn't see it out here. Mary Lou (my mother-in-law) is a proud bakespace member also. Thanks for the recipe.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
dash of pepper
3/4 cup milk
1 can whole kernel corn
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions

Heat oven to 350. Saute onion in butter until golden. Belnd in flour, seasonings and cook until bubbly. Remove from heat and gradually add milk. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add corn and egg, then pour into a 1 qt baking dish. Top with buttered crumbs or crushed chips. Bake 20-30 minutes.
