Selvie's Chocolate Chip Cookies
550 mL unsifted flour- 18.6 ounces
5 mL baking soda- .17 ounces
5 mL salt- .17 ounces
250 mL butter or margarine, softened-5 ounces
175 mL granulated sugar- 5.9 ounces
175 mL firmly packed brown sugar-5.9 ounces
5 mL vanilla extract-.17 ounces
2 eggs- .135 ounces
2 168 gram packages semisweet chocolate chips
250 mL chopped nuts- 5 ounces
Preheat the oven to 190 ºC.
In small bowl, combine flour
baking soda, and salt
set aside. In large bowl
combine butter sugar
beat until creamy
Beat in eggs
Gradually add flour mixture; mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Using 5 mL measure, drop by rounded measures into ungreased cookie sheet.

I chose this recipe by not knowing what to do so my good friend Kasey told me to do chocolate chip cookies, so while I was looking for some to do I came across this one and decided to do it... A heterogeneous in this is the eggs, batter before it is mixed up and the cookies when it's done baking. A pure substance in this is the salt, baking soda, flour. A homogeneous mixtures in this are, granulated sugar, butter or margarine (I used butter). So that's the chemistry information!
