Notes

Poke is very much a traditional food in Hawai'i and is served in restaurants also in restaurants where they serve local food and at luaus. The recipe for Shoyu Poke Ahi we found in E Hoolako Mau all Hawaiian Cookbook. We had the pleasure of being at a Ho'olaulea at the right time when the author Tamar Luke Panee was there and signed our book.

This sounds wonderful. I can't wait to make it!
