2 cans 4 1/2 oz. shrimp
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 cup grated old cheddar cheese
1 can cream of shrimp soup
1/4 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
Combine all ingredients.
*Filling can be frozen separate or in puffs.
Add butter to boiling water; heat to boiling.
Add flour, stir over heat until smooth and the mixture leaves sides of pot.
Cool slightly, add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Beat until glossy.
Chill until it holds its shape.
Place 1/2 tsp. on a buttered cookie sheet.
Start the oven at 400º reducing to 350º when you put the cookie sheet in.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool the baked puffs and then cut in half. Fill with shrimp filling and bake for 10 minutes at 350º.
