- 1-1/2 cups white sugar
- 1-1/2 cup lemon juice, store-bought or fresh squeezed
- 8 cups water
- Mix sugar with one cup water .
- Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes to dissolve the sugar.
- Add lemon juice and remaining 7 cups of water.
- Chill before serving.
NotesMy children gulp down lemonade on hot summer days. I put this recipe together when we ran out of store-bought lemonade.
