Why I Love This Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need

2 oz linguine
5 T extra-virgin olive oil
2 tsp chopped basil
2 tsp chopped oregano
1 T garlic powder
1 tomato slice - chopped
1 onion slice - chopped
1 red bell pepper slice - chopped
parmesan cheese


Start your pasta water, add some salt for flavor.

In a skillet, mix olive oil, basil, oregano, and garlic powder. Keep on a low heat.

After adding pasta to the boiling water, add tomato, onion, and bell pepper to the skillet. Put the skillet on a low-medium heat, allowing the oil mixture to simmer.

Once the pasta is cooked to your liking, use tongs to transfer the pasta directly from the water to the skillet. Be sure to shake the pasta gently to remove excess water.

With the tongs, mix the pasta in the oil mixture for a minute or two, allowing it to be evenly coated.

Put the pasta on a plate and sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese.

Serve and enjoy!
