Skillet Pork Chops
6 pork chops
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbl vegetable oil
1 small bay leaf
2 cup tomato juice
1/2 cup water
1 small cabbage (cut in 8 wedges)
5-6 carrots (sliced)
l medium onion (chopped)
4 medium potatoes (peeled and chopped into large chunks)
1/4 tsp salt
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
Brown pork in hot oil in large skillet.
Add bay leaf, tomato juice and water.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and cook for 35-40 minutes.
