SLOW COOKER FUDGE CAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 TBS vegetable oil
  • 2 TBS baking cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup hot water

Directions

  • Spray inside of 3 1/2 - 6 qt. slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix flour, granulated sugar, 2 TBS cocoa, baking powder & salt in medium bowl. Stir in milk, oil & vanilla until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread batter evenly in slow cooker. Mix brown sugar and ¼ cup baking cocoa in small bowl. Stir in hot water until smooth. Pour evenly over batter in slow cooker. Cover & cook on high heat 2 1/2 hours or until toothpick tests done. Turn off cooker and allow to stand uncovered 30-40 min. to cool slightly. Serve warm by spooning cake into dessert dishes and spooning each serving with sauce from the bottom of cooker. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
