SNICKER DOODLE COOKIES

  • Preparation Time: 10 min

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. Butter
  • 1/2 C. Shortning
  • 1 1/2 C. Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 3/4 C. Flour
  • 2 tsp. Cream of Tarter
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 2T Sugar
  • 2T Cinnomin

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 375'
  • In a large bowl mix together shortning, sugar and add eggs one at a time. Mix till well blended. In another bowl shift together flour, cream of tarter, baking soda and salt. Combine dry to wet ingredients a little at a time.
  • combine sugar and cinnomin in a small shallow bowl
  • Make 1 inch balls and roll in sugar cinnomin mixture.
  • Place about an inch or so apart on and ungreased baking sheet ( use parchment paper if you have it )and bake for 7 - 10 min.

My brother in-law used to make these when I was younger. They are Delish.
