Why I Love This Recipe

I got this recipe in a huge collection of cheesecake recipes a friend gathered and graciously shared with me because she knows how I love cheesecake! I didn't really think this was much of a cheesecake, but was very intrigued with the idea of how it was put together! It is absolutely wonderful!!! What a pleasant and delicious surprise!!


Ingredients You'll Need

2 cans crescent rolls
2 cups granulated sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon cinnamon


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


Spray a 9 X 13- baking dish with Pam.


Layer bottom of dish with one can of crescent rolls. Pinch seams together.


Mix 1 cup sugar and cream cheese until smooth and creamy; spread over crescent rolls. Place remaining can of crescent rolls on top of cream cheese mixture and pinch seams together. Mix remaining 1 cup sugar and 1 stick butter together (will be crumbly). Sprinkle over crescent rolls and then sprinkle with cinnamon.


Bake 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.


Kay says: I had to bake mine for 45 minutes. It just was not very brown after only 30 mint. Wow! What a difference that extra 15 min. made!!
