Sour Cream Coffee Cake
1 stick margarine
1 stick butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Additional 1 1/2 tsp sugar for topping
2 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Cream butter, margarine, sugar, and sour cream; add eggs and vanilla -beat well.
Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture and beat well.
Thoroughly grease a 10 inch tube pan.
Make topping by combing nuts, 1 1/2 tsp sugar and cinnamon.
In bottom of well-greased tube pan, put 1/3 of topping mixture.
Alternate layers of batter and topping, ending with batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
