Sour Cream Cranberry Jello Salad
3/4 cup water
3 oz package Raspberry OR Strawberry Gelatin
1 cup sour cream
1 pound whole canned cranberry sauce
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped walnuts OR pecans
Heat water to a boil
Add gelatin and stir to dissolve
Remove from heat
Add sour cream and use a wire whisk to beat until smooth.
Stir in cranberry, lemon, and nuts.
Put in glass bowl or dish and chill till serving.
I usuaully make this in a 13 x 9 glass baking dish and double the recipe using either one box of raspberry jello and on strawberry or one big box of some combo like cranberry-rasp, etc
Pairs Well With
A nice side dish to any holiday meal. Goes great with ham, prime rib, etc.
