Why I Love This Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need

3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon fresh key lime juice
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon key lime zest
1 cup sour cream
1 Keebler preformed crust (brush with egg white & bake at 375° F for 5 minutes first) or use Graham Cracker Crust, baked 12 minutes at 350° F.


1. In a saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch; gradually stir in whipping cream, juice, butter, and zest.

2. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly; reduce and simmer 10 minutes until thick and smooth, stirring. Cool, stirring occasionally.

3. Fold in sour cream; put in crust and refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours.

4. Put topping on just before serving.

Topping: (Combine and mix all.)

1 cup whipping cream

¼ cup sugar

1½ teaspoon vanilla extract
