SOUR MILK/BUTTERMILK

Ingredients

  • Milk
  • Vinegar or lemon juice

Directions

  • For each cup of sour milk, place 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice in a glass measuring cup.
  • Add enough milk to make 1 cup total liquid.
  • Stir and let the mixture stand for 5 minutes before using.

Notes

I usually use this for my my Buttermilk Brownies and Frosting recipes.
