Why I Love This Recipe

I remember watching my grandmom make these when I was little. I loved to watch her and help her in the kitchen.

They are very easy to make. The best thing to make them is make the dough the day before you want to bake them or make the dough in the morning and bake them in the evening.

Ingredients You'll Need

500g Flour
375g Margarine
200g Powdered Sugar
1 tsp or more Vanilla Essence

Directions

Knead all ingredients together. I´m sure your Kitchen Aid or Kenwood or... will happily help you here :)

Form 2 long rolls. Wrap them up in baking paper first and then wrapping foil. Cool in the refrigerator.

Slice the rolls evenly into ca 3 Millimeter thick slices. Put on a baking sheet layered with baking paper and bake at 200°C til golden brown on the edges. Ca 7 minutes.

Here is a good website to convert to US measurements: http://allrecipes.com/HowTo/Cup-to-Gram-Conversions/Detail.aspx

Any chance of translating this to American measurements? They sound deliciously easy.
