Spicy Honey Garlic chicken Hogie Rolls
Chicken breast 2 fillets flattened
Salt 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
Mustard paste 1/2 tsp
All purpose flour 2 tbsp
Panko Bread crumbs to coat 3/4 cup
Honey Garlic Sauce :
Garlic crushed 1 tsp
Chilli garlic sauce 1/4 cup
ketchup 1/4 cup
Honey 1/4 cup
Vinegar 1/4 cup
Butter 1 tbsp
Iceberg lettuce 2 leaves
Tomato 1 sliced
Hoagie buns 2
Cream cheese 4 tbsp
Marinate Chicken with egg,salt,pepper,mustard,garlic powder,flour and mustard for 30 mts.
Coat it with Panko and leave in the fridge for 10 mts
Shallow fy till golden
Drain on paper towel
Heat butter and add garlic and fry till fragrant.
Add chilli garlic sauce,ketchup,honey and vinegar and cook till thick
Spread the cream cheese on the roll.
Put lettuce and tomato on one side
dip the fried chicken breast on both sides with the sauce and place on chicken and cover with the other hoagie.
Serve immediately with fries and leftover sauce as a dip

This recipe comes from Pakistan my birthplace.I love this recipe as my 3 boys love it!It is a wonderful fusion of American Hoagies and cream cheese spread.The chicken breast fillet is coated with Japanese Panko breadcrumbs for a crunchy flavor.Smothered in a yummy honey garlic sauce adapted from a chinese recipe and it was created in Pakistan and eaten almost every fortnight in my American home! I serve it with seasoned fries and Chilled Coke !
