Why I Love This Recipe

I've made tons of Oatmeal cookies in my life and this is truly the best ever, soooo chewy and full of spicy flavor.

Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup Butter flavored Crisco
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground clove
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins

Cream together butter, crisco, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.

Stir flour mixture into creamed mixture.

Stir in rolled oats and raisins.

Drop by Tablespoons full onto cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes until light and golden.

Let cool for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet to cool.
