Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Serves | Prep Time | Cook Time 10 to 12


1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup Butter flavored Crisco
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground clove
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins

Cream together butter, crisco, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.

Stir flour mixture into creamed mixture.

Stir in rolled oats and raisins.

Drop by Tablespoons full onto cookie sheet and bake @350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until light and golden.

Let cool for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet to cool.

I've made tons of Oatmeal cookies in my life and this is truly the best ever, soooo chewy and full of spicy flavor.
