- Cooking Time: 5
- Servings: 2-4
- Preparation Time: 5-10
- Non Stick Cooking Spray
- Malt Vinegar
- Hot Mustard
- Spray a small pot with cooking spray.
- Chop onions and then saute them.
- Take a plop (how ever much you like) of the mustard and mix it with the onions. Add some malt vinegar (again to taste) to the mustard/onion mixture.
- Drop in the washed spinach. Stir around pan until the spinach is wilted. Can be served with extra vinegar if you like. Yum!
NotesThis is a healthy version of another one of my grandma's recipes.
My grandma used to take new lettuce or spinach (just picked) and green onions and pour hot bacon grease over it to wilt the spinach or lettuce. Yum...but NOT healthy at all so I made a healthier version minus the grease.
